Mark W. Day, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Day started the practice in August 2000.  He has undergraduate degrees from Vincennes University and Indiana University.  He attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (now Des Moines University) and graduated in 1995.  Dr. Day completed his internship and residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH.  He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  

Dr. Day currently serves as the program director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at Grandview Medical Center.  The program is considered one of the best osteopathic residency programs in the country.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. 


William G. Alter, D.O.

Dr. Alter received his undergraduate degree from Manchester College (now Manchester University) in North Manchester, Indiana.  He attended Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine) receiving his medical degree in 2006.  Dr. Alter joined Generations Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc. after completing his internship and residency training at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH in 2010.

Dr. Alter has special interests in bladder problems and urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, minimally invasive surgery, and in-office procedures including Novasure endometrial ablations and non-incision tubal ligations (Essure). He also works closely with the Southview Hospital OB/GYN residents as a clinical faculty member at both the hospital and Southview Women's Center.

Dr. Alter resides in Springboro, OH and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Kelly, and twin boys.
